Before founding Mosaic, Warren spent eight years as
a Senior Principal of State Street Global Advisors
(SSgA) where he was head of the Public Funds,
Taft-Hartley and Health Care marketing group. Warren
joined State Street Corporation in 1991 as a Vice
President in the Public Funds Services custody
division. Previously, he spent 10 years with the IBM
Corporation where he was the Senior Manager for
major Public Fund and Higher Education accounts and
held several other marketing and development
positions. He has extensive experience in sales and
marketing to institutional clients and developing
sales strategies for investment services. He is the principal contact for Mosaic consulting
clients.
Warren is a graduate of Florida A&M University and
earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration
from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Public
and International Affairs. He was a Woodrow Wilson
Fellow at the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. In
1994, Warren received State Street’s Quality and
Sales Award for exceptional accomplishment and
professionalism and in 2000, he was recognized by
State Street as Global Sales Manager of the Year.

Michael is actively involved in all aspects of
Mosaic’s consulting and marketing activities. He
also advises clients contemplating mergers,
acquisitions and other business combinations. He has
an extensive background in marketing, M&A and
strategic planning with State Street Global
Advisors, Braxton Associates, and Coopers &
Lybrand. At Coopers, he founded and led the
Strategic Planning practice and was also a Director
in the Investment Companies Management Consulting
practice. As a Principal of State Street Global
Advisors (SSgA), he had direct responsibility for
new product development, competitive evaluation,
strategic planning and was also involved in the SSgA
M&A activity.
Michael is a CPA and earned a BA in Economics from
Trinity College and a graduate business degree (MSIA)
from the Tepper School at Carnegie-Mellon University, where he was the
Mellon Accounting Fellow. He also serves on the
Tepper Boston Alumni Board and the Board of Directors of an emerging manufacturing
firm.
